Wild Dolphin Swim
Swim with these majestic and intelligent mammals
Visitors and locals are always asking us, “Do you know where to swim with dolphins in the wild?” Our answer is always the same. Captain Tim knows where to find dolphins swimming in their wild and natural habitat. They are majestic and intelligent mammals.
Join Wahine Charters as we cruise the beautiful Kona coastline as we look for Hawaii’s friendly Spinner Dolphins. It’s not uncommon to encounter Spotted Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins all on the same trip! We practice responsible Dolphin interactions and will only enter the water if the Dolphins are willing. Our captian (who has a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Marine Science) will also share some guidelines to minimize our impact.
We provide all snorkel gear, beverages, fresh island fruit, and snacks. Our boat, the “Wicked Wahine” is a US Coast Guard certified vessel. There is shade and a head (bathroom). We have comfortable seating for 14 guest, which is the most we will take out at a time for a more one on one experience.
